Great chats
A true reflection of how lots of us feel about teaching. Really enjoyed it. Will keep listening 👍
Real and reliable!
Thanks for being so real guys. Absolutely love listening!
Because they told me too
5 star review, because you asked….. Yes it’s a great podcasts as well. :)
A podcast that is almost as good as a kebab.
Teach Sleep Repeat isn’t just a podcast, it’s a full-blown educational döner of delight, wrapped tightly in a warm pita of brilliance and absolutely smothered in garlic sauce-level banter. Hayden and Dylan (affectionately known as Dylden) don’t just host this show - they marinate in wisdom and spit-roast their insights until they’re golden brown and dripping with juicy knowledge. I came for the primary education podcast, stayed for the laughs and now I’m subscribed like I would to a loyalty card at GDK. Seriously though, I let these two tightly wrap up my weekly CPD in foil, chuck it in a paper bag and hand it to me over a greasy counter at 2am (it also goes down well after a couple of beers). Keep up the great work guys!
Just brilliant.
I have very recently discovered this podcast and as someone who has worked in different roles in education over 25 years there is so much I can relate to! Dylan and Hayden are refreshing, honest and upfront about teaching and their passion for the craft really comes through. I look forward to each week’s episode.
What we are all thinking!
I LOVE listening to Hayden and Dylan on the way into work in the mornings - it has become my new morning routine! Open, honest, funny podcast that is brave enough to say what we are all thinking as teachers (but sometimes too scared to verbalise) Great listening and some really good subjects for debate.
This has quickly become part of my Monday routine.
Love listening to you guys! So informative, relatable and funny. Thank you and keep up the great work
The shocking facts and truth
This podcast is a true insight to all the fun and difficulties a teacher goes through. I’ve been teaching unqualified for 10 years but will finally be an ECT this September. Every episode is like listening to my own journey. As a listener, I answer your questions out loud and comment like I am in the room with you. It’s a fantastic listen every time. Keep up the amazing work guys and stay strong. Schools still need educators like you!
Fellow teacher seeking reassurance
This podcast is great for that much needed confirmation that, no, it’s not just you and your classroom. Even if (and when) I leave teaching I’ll continue to listen. It gives me hope for the future of educators!
Wonderful!
I listen to this podcast every morning on my way to work and it never fails to make me laugh and genuinely ponder and reflect on my own practice! As a teacher of 7 years, it has helped me to identify toxicity and understand my rights within the workplace. Dylan and Hayden are realistic about teaching and so supportive of teachers in this extremely challenging profession. I can’t thank them enough for the relatable and fun stories they share! Keep it up guys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
AMAZING!
I absolutely love this podcast, I listen every day on the way to work. Dylan and Hayden have made me feel empowered as an ECT to stand up for what’s right and have given me so many laughs, top tips and advice. I feel like I’m being guided from afar! Highly recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A- MAZE- ING
Love love love this podcast!
Great listening
I love listening to these two talk - always pertinent conversations that can be seen in secondary as well as primary. I may not always agree with you gents, but keep up the great work!
I love it!
As a teacher myself I love listening to the podcasts and the topics they cover.
Should be included on our reading list for the PGCE!
I’m a current PGCE student and catching up on all the past episodes is the perfect way to pass the time on my journey to my placement. Dylan and Hayden are both hilarious, relatable and humble. Their experience and passion for the field is evident and I’m picking so many great tips.
Funny and informative!
I’ve never worked in a school before in my life but I still find this podcast brilliant. The stories are hilarious and Hayden and Dylan are clearly passionate teachers who care about their classes. Amazing listen!
Really useful. Love it!
I am starting my PGCE this September and embarking on a career change. These podcasts have really helped me prepare for the course and gain an insight into the teaching world. I feel I’m really benefiting from Dylan and Hayden’s experience and passion for teaching, and hope to bring their wise words with me throughout my training. Thank you so much and keep up the good work :-)
Great for higher ed too
This podcast is brill - really enjoy the conversations and subjects discussed. I teach in higher education and the podcasts about university learning are well boring. I’ve got so much out of listening to this podcast that I can use in my classrooms in higher Ed and the stories about the kids are hilarious. Thank for a great show!
Fabulous!
I was looking for a podcast to help me as I near the end of my PGCE and came across these guys. The episode on tips for new teachers was so helpful and reassuring!
Practical, Fun, Nuanced—Top Marks
Looove this podcast! These two obviously care deeply about teaching, ENJOY teaching, and enjoy doing this podcast, too. It makes for a great, easy listen, but with loads of practical guidance woven in. They keep it positive, but don’t shy away from the unpleasant realities of education, either. With complex issues, they allow nuance without falling down rabbit holes. It reminds me somewhat of the old Car Talk radio show, but British and for education. Cheers from Colorado.
By Teachers, For Teachers!
A relatable podcast, that’s easy to listen to, makes you giggle and think in equal measure.
Funny but also serious!
I discovered these guys on Threads of all places and have really enjoyed getting to know them through the podcast. I love their funny banter but also how they tackle some serious and important topics in the world of education. Highly recommended even for non-primary teachers!
Love it!
Recommended to fellow teachers and non-teaching folks who want to learn about the day-to-day teaching life. Good reflection of classroom reality, personable and relatable. I found myself looking forward to new episodes, and I hope it will continue. Give it a listen!
